Here goes. I haven't been to this restaurant in some years. Had a bad experience and had not been back until today. Family Sunday and my wife had a hankering for Chicken Parmesan. I was like "I'll go with the flow".
We were headed for the mall and decided for Bucca. Again I'm going with the flow. We walked in and were seated right away. A warm piece of bread and a dish with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was brought to our table. Our server "Tony" was amazing. He was so down to earth. As a family my 3 year old and 9 year old make any meal out an adventure.
We chose the Chicken Parmesan, Short Rib and pasta shell dish (I forget the name of it), with Fetuccini Alfredo for my 9 year old and spaghetti for my 3 year old. Food was amazing for a chain. The dishes were hot and came fast to our table. Tony was on top of our table. As he was dealing with other tables he made it a point to stop by for refills and ask us if we needed anything.
Once we were done with our meal he made it a point to bring my daughter's an ice cream treat.
I feel for having had had a bad experience, this made up for it. I will be going back, and hoping Tiny is our server.
If you have ever had a bad experience somewhere, please do yourself a favor and give it a second chance. If the food is good or you considered it good, it has to be worth it. Happy eats! -

I was disappointed with my lunch here. I should have known when it was lunch time and we were the only ones there. There were other places close by (walking distance) and I'm sure everyone was there.
I'm mean, my and my friend's salad and 1/2 sandwich was okay, but the service could have been better, and really so could the food.
I remember when that brand was fun to go to and had really good food. -

The decor is a little exaggerated and tacky, but it had an authentic Italian feel. Pictures from years ago adorned the wall, and we found ourselves looking at them as we waited for the food and found it a fascinating distraction. The waitress was attentive and helpful, my wife wanted a meal with garlic and the waitress gave her 3 selections, which my wife chose one.
The Lasagna we ordered stole the show, I could not stop eating it, the marinara had an authentic spicy personality that was almost addictive and reminded me of Italian dishes while growing up. The garlic bread was just like my dad used to make. Believe it or not, I had never tried Ziti, so I ordered it with free coupon that came when I reserved online. It was okay, but it was just not that special. It was prepared well, I just think it was outside my palettes preferences.
Oh the portions are ENORMOUS! We took home several days worth of leftover food! It is not a cheap dining experience and the meal was around $90+ tip. But it is a worthwhile experience, and taking home 5lbs of leftovers for the next several days ain't too bad.
And most importantly, it reminded me of my Italian meals while growing up..... -

LOCATION
Great location as it is right in town across from the mall. It's conveniently located across from Valencia town center. There is a big parking lots that surrounds the Restaurant but it's usually quite busy. We were fortunate enough to find a spot easily today.
ATMOSPHERE
Surprisingly, when we entered the restaurant, it was not busy and we were immediately greeted and seated inside the restaurant in a comfortable booth. The dining room was nicely lit and decorated with many many pictures of stars. The vibe was comfortable and relaxed.
FACILITY
The restaurant itself has plenty of seating. The inside music was very loud and intrusive.
SERVICE
Service was good and the prices were well in line. I dont know who devised the plan to drop off one item at a time. But most of the meal was brought out in stages. I guess you can look at it as a 5 course meal.
THE ORDER
The menu had a great variety of different foods. We ordered calamari, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken marsala, alfredo. All for 8 people. We had plenty left over.
STAFF
Friendly and attentive. Each time we needed something we had the waitress and was served. They even sang happy birthday to me as it was my special day.
OVERALL
Fresh dependable menu items served by friendly staff. The facility was nice. The service was friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable.
The place was clean and respectable. -

I got to tell you what a disappointment the food was here. The pizza and salad is very bland and like a number 2 out of 10. Very little taste and very over priced. The veggie pizza from trader Joes is better. Salad was just ok. My husband enjoyed the cheese cake. He had a glass of wine...the bill was a wopping $77.00. Omg!!!!! Unreal!!!! Never again will I eat here.
Reading the other reviews, I am not alone in this, Food taste, was POOR wayyyyyyyyyy over priced!!!!!! You guys need help!!!!
